Historia

¡Como el Social Good Brasil nació!

El Social Good Brasil surgió de la asociación entre el Instituto Voluntarios en Acción (IVA), que gestiona el portal Voluntarios Online (VOL), y el Instituto Comunitario Grande Florianópolis (ICom). El primer paso fue en 2010, cuando las organizaciones promovieron el seminario Together is Better (TiB), un encuentro en Florianópolis con conferenciantes internacionales y grandes nombres de la comunicación y del tercer sector para la promoción del uso de tecnologías para colaborar en la solución de problemas sociales. En 2011, las organizaciones participaron del Social Good Summit, en Nueva York. El evento reunió conferenciantes y personas de todo el mundo para intercambiar ideas sobre el uso de las herramientas tecnológicas para solucionar problemas globales. Inspiradas en lo que vieron en ese encuentro, las organizaciones decidieron crear el programa Social Good Brasil que cuenta con el aval de la UNFoundation. Para conocer mejor el ICom y los Voluntarios online – IVA:

ICom

Organización innovadora sin fines lucrativos, que desde 2005 promueve el desarrollo comunitario a través de la movilización, articulación y apoyo a inversores y organizaciones sociales. Inversiones Sociales en la Comunidad, Apoyo Técnico y Financiero a ONGs y Producción y Diseminación de Conocimiento son las tres principales áreas de actuación. El ICom lanzó en 2009 el Portal Transparencia, que al mismo tiempo que educa organizaciones de la sociedad civil para la importancia de su fortalecimiento educacional, permite que las mismas tengan sus informaciones abiertas para que los inversores y toda la sociedad pueda acompañarlas.

Voluntários online - IVA

El IVA es una organización sin fines lucrativos fundada en 1998 con el objetivo de difundir la cultura del voluntariado y tener cada vez más personas haciendo trabajo voluntario de forma innovadora en Florianópolis y en Santa Catarina. En 2008, el Instituto introdujo en Brasil el voluntariado digital con el apoyo de la ONU y lanzó el Portal Voluntarios Online, un enlace entre personas dispuestas a ejercer el voluntariado presencial y digital y ONGs y escuelas que necesitan de este trabajo. En 5 años el portal cuenta con más de 55.000 voluntarios en todo Brasil. La misión del Portal VOL es “Contribuir con excelencia para el desarrollo de la posición voluntaria de cada ciudadano, para que estén preparados para ser un agente transformador del mundo interconectado en que vivimos”.

    Carolina de Andrade

    Carol is the Social Innovation Manager at ICom. She coordinates the Social Good Brazil Program and ICom’s Center for Social Innovation in Florianópolis (Brazil). Carolina holds a Masters in Technology and Innovation Management in Science and Technology Policy Research from the University of Sussex (UK) and a Post Degree in Entrepreneurship from FGV-EAESP/Babson College/USA. She worked for four years as Director of the Social Business Accelerator Artemisia, is a LEAD Fellow– Leadership for Sustainable Development and co-founder of several nonprofits. Carol is a +SocialGood Advisor.

    Bruna Pires

    Bruna is an advertiser and holds an iMBA in Management of Business, Markets and Interactive Projects. She has 07 years experience in digital marketing, she has worked for the BZZ Advertisement Agency, IVA and as a planner for an agency of mobile marketing, as well as being a Communications Coordinator for Clear Education and Innovation. Bruna is the Communications Coordinator for the Social Good Brazil Program.

    Ana Paula Santos

    Ana holds a Degree in Journalism from the University of the South of Santa Catarina (Unisul). She has worked as a press and communications agent and has focused her expertise in the production of content for the Internet and management of social media. Ana Paula is responsible for the Social Good Brazil Program’s digital and social media communication.

    Cecília Mozzaquattro da Silva

    Cecília holds a Degree in International Relations from the University of the South of Santa Catarina (Unisul) and a Post-Degree in Business Administration from Getúlio Vargas Foundation – FGV. After 6 years of experience working with international trade in selling and development of new business, Cecília decided to change her career to work in social and environmental fields. Currently, she is a member of the Social Good Brazil Program’s team and is the manager of the Ibero-American Network of Community Foundations, as well as a volunteer in local social and environmental initiatives.

    Andressa Trivelli

    She holds a Degree in Business Administration by PUC-SP and is working on her MBA at FGV-EAESP. Andressa has worked in strategic and commercial planning and project management for the government, corporations and nonprofit organizations. Since 2007, when she co-founded Tekoha, she has been immersed in the world of social and community businesses. Today, she works for the Social Good Brazil Program in São Paulo, coordinating the SGBLAB-SP.

    Bárbara Basso

    Mestre em Sustentabilidade e Inovação Social pela UFRGS. É certificada internacionalmente como Profissional em Gestão de Projetos de Desenvolvimento (PMD Pro niveis 1 e 2) e é replicadora da metodologia no Brasil. Coordenou diferentes projetos de apoio a empreendedores de baixa renda na Aliança Empreendedora. Possui experiência internacional em empreendedorismo e inovação social: trabalhou com microcrédito para comunidades rurais na Costa Rica, capacitação profissionalizante de jovens de baixa renda no Uruguai, e foi coordenadora regional da AIESEC para a Europa Centro-Oriental. Hoje, coordena o Social Good Brasil Lab em Florianópolis.

    Mariel Ramos

    Publicitária formada na Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (Univali), com iMBA em Gestão de Negócios, Mercados e Projetos Interativos (iGroup). Iniciou sua carreira no mercado publicitário atuando em agências de publicidade. Trabalhou por 5 anos no serviço público e por duas vezes em equipes digitais de campanhas políticas, sendo uma em 2009 para deputado federal e outra em 2014 para senador. Hoje faz parte da equipe da Comunicação do Social Good Brasil.

    Sílvia Luz

    Empreendedora social e consultora em processos colaborativos para o desenvolvimento humano, organizacional e comunitário. Psicóloga com especialização em atendimento a criança e adolescente em situação de risco. Coordenadora do Green Drinks Floripa, movimento mundial que fomenta encontros e networking para causas socioambientais. Trabalhou desenvolvendo e coordenado projetos no CDI nas áreas de educação, sustentabilidade, inovação e empreendedorismo. Hoje coordena o projeto Agente Social Good no Social Good Brasil.

    Fernanda Bornhausen Sá

    President of IVA and creator of the Portal Voluntários Online (VOL).

    Fernanda is a social entrepreneur and businesswoman and has developed vast experience in multi-sector partnerships. She has worked in strategic positions in civil society organizations and has led most of the innovative endeavors regarding volunteer work in Brazil. Fernanda has served as Secretary for Social Development of the State of Santa Catarina and as CEO in different companies. She holds an MBA in Global Administration from the State University of Santa Catarina (Brazil), she is a Fellow of the Synergos Institute (NY) and is partner and director of the company ‘Clear Education and Innovation’.

    Lúcia Dellagnelo

    ICom’s co-founder and first President

    Lucia is an experienced and well-known social entrepreneur in Brazil and has worked as a consultant for international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and W.K.Kellogg Foundation. She is currently Vice-Secretary of Economic and Sustainable Development of the State of Santa Catarina. Lucia holds a PhD. in Education and Human Development from Harvard University (USA), she is a Fellow of the Synergos Institute (NY) and an AVINA Leader.

    Mariane Maier Nunes

    ICom’s Executive Manager

    Anderson has worked in the social field in Brazil for almost 20 years. He holds a Masters in International Studies in Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship from Bologna University (Italy) and a Master in Public Administration from the State University of Santa Catarina (Brazil). Anderson is a Fellow of the Emerging Leaders International Fellowship Program of the City University of New York (USA), coordinates the Ibero-American Network of Community Foundations and has focused his work in community philanthropy in Brazil.

    Ana Maria Warken do Vale Pereira

    IVA’s co-founder and Executive Director

    Ana Maria is an activist and well-known leader in the volunteer sector in Brazil. She has worked at the Secretary for Social Development of the State of Santa Catarina for almost 20 years. Ana Maria holds a Degree in Social Work and a Post Degree in Community Development from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She has been head of IVA since it was founded in 1998, and she serves as Board Member and director of ICom – Instituto Comunitário Grande Florianópolis.
